The platinum-black electrode is a fluffy and porous layer of platinum. The porous platinum black increases the surface area of the electrode, reduces the current density and reduces the influence of the polarization effect of the electrode. Platinum or poorly plated platinum black electrode can not be used, which will seriously interfere with the accuracy of the experimental results.
